Introduction

Well, the first run of bad weather wasn't enough, and we're off to find some sunshine before the summer ends officially. This unofficial end of summer is pretty dumb, we think. Why would anyone who didn't have to, want to end the summer early? Why indeed, after a summer like the one we've just had.

In an attempt to prolong the opportunity to have some summer fun, we are loading up Solace to take another whack at Long Island Sound and a chance meeting with some friends. We will try to post both weather reports and adventures here.
