Hi Jeff & Marion,
I still have this link to your sailing site. I was surprise to see you are on a trip down south. I guess you had a lot of damage to the house and decided to get out for the repairs! Sounds like this trip south is a bit different with the weather then north.
How far south are you going ? Sailing back?
Stay safe…. Have to say “Hi” when at my sister”s house(Ginny Matena).

Looks like “Gleam” and “Northern Lights” drifting into the sound. You made some good time to Newport, eh? Not much lollygagging for you two.
Lee and Kathleen are in town for the weekend, I will let them know where you are. Have a great trip, maybe see you on the water? We leave 31st, eastbound.

Ah, summer alright. It seems that Portland west (Oergon) has become Portland east (Maine). Or are we really in Seattle? Seen enough, either way.

What a perfect day for sailing on the Bay. . .racing or not!
Congratulations to all my competitors. It was evident that all of your sailing/racing skills have improved significantly and that one day soon I will be following you around the course.
Let’s all keep our enthusiasm for this race and do all that we can to increase participation in next year’s race.

Hi Jeff & Marion,
Just want to let you know that we’ve been following your progress. Oh to be in Maine! We do miss it, but maybe that means it will be even better for us next time around. We didn’t sail this weekend: Bruce claimed it was because he has a cold (he does), but I think it was largely because he wanted an excuse to drive around in his new Mini Cooper with the John Cooper Works package! Great little car… Glad your cruise is going well. Look for my Mom & Dad. They’re in a 40-foot Willard Trawler named Vide Poches, with a CCA burgee. I think they were in NE when you were there, and they are now headed for Castine in the next couple of days to pick up the mail I sent there. Have fun! And put some notes on the Sabre community site! -DB
